CIMMYT's South Asia heat and drought Tolerant (SAHDT) pipeline focuses on developing medium-to-late maturing maize hybrids with yellow grain color that are high-yielding with good standability, tolerance to drought-plus-heat stress, and resistance to TLB and macrophomina stalk rot.
