CAH202

CAH202 is an intermediate-maturing maize hybrid bred for the tropical lowlands of South Asia. This high-yielding, yellow-kernel maize hybrid performs well under drought and drought-plus-waterlogging conditions, and has tolerance to TLB, ear rots, and BLSB.   General Information
  Target Region South Asia
  Adaptation/Agroecological zone Tropical lowlands
(up to 1300 masl)
  Type of product Single-cross hybrid
  Year first announced 2023

Plant aspect (1-5)* 2.0   Comments
*Plant and ear aspects are scored on 1-5 scale, where 1 = desirable and 5 = undesirable characteristics   Product information is based on data from CIMMYT's SAWLDT 2020/21 Stage 4 Regional On-Station Trials and 2021/22 Stage 5 Regional On-Farm Trials. Actual performance will vary depending on a number of agronomic and environmental factors.
