CIM22SAPP2-10

CIM22SAPP2-10 is a high-yielding, early-maturing maize hybrid with white grain, that is drought tolerant, NUE, and resistant to GLS, MSV, and TLB. It is suitable for cultivation for food use in tropical, rainfed, dry/wet mid-altitude and lowland ecologies in southern Africa and similar agroecologies. It has demonstrated good nicking and comparatively good yield under severe stress.   General Information
  Target region Southern Africa
  Target region <1800 masl
Type of product Three-way cross hybrid
  Year first announced 2023

  Comments
Product information is based on data from CIMMYT Southern Africa Maize Regional On-Station (Stage 4) and On-Farm (Stage 5) Trials. Actual performance will vary depending on a number of agronomic and environmental factors.
