CIMMYT's southern Africa product profile 2 (SA-PP2) primarily focuses on developing high-yielding, extra-early to early-maturing maize hybrids with white grain that are drought tolerant and NUE, with resistance to GLS, MSV, and TLB, suitable for food use in tropical, rainfed, dry/wet mid-altitude and lowland ecologies in southern Africa and similar agroecologies.    General Information
